Hello fellow community members,

With the launch of SAP Intelligent RPA 2.0 (happening soon at SAP TechEd 2020) I am sure many of you are wondering what is new with the new product version. Some “spoilers” have already been given in the latest blog posts in the SAP Intelligent RPA 2.0 Blog Post Series. You can even find some early feedback from BETA customers, who were very enthusiastic with the new possibilities with Cloud Studio ?

We are very excited to tell you everything about the 2.0 release live in the upcoming SAP Community Call on December 14th!

Hi Maiara Regina Schardong Ellwanger - Really looking forward to the TechEd and this session to understand more in detail on the 2.0. What I hope should be the case is : all the future standard bots should be built in the Cloud Studio instead of Desktop version. Will that be the case, anyway?

      thanks & Regards

      Srinivas Rao.

      Hi Srinivas Rao,

yes, all bots should be built in Cloud Studio then. Which will be, of course, much easier than before. The standard content will follow the launch of 2.0 and made available in 2021. See you in the call ?
      Best, Maiara

Hello, thank you for your post

I can see all the benefits of the new cloud studio but I'm wondering where can I edit directly the code as I can in "scripts" tab in actual desktop studio? I read about a low code functionality but honestly I don't understand. Or from now we can not edit the code directly?

      Thank you.

      Hi Juan Daniel Cortés Peña

with the provided activities inside the SDKs, complex workflows can be create without having to code. But we also added a custom script activity for those (like you 😉) who might feel more comfortable coding their automations (including syntax validation and autocompletion to help save time).

Please watch the recording (see my comment below with the link) for the complete feature overview and feel free to join the next openSAP course in February.

      All the best, Maiara
