In this Article we will cover How to integrate SF BIZX to LMS. For SuccessFactors LMS implementation, Bizx integration is the first step we need to set up. Please follow the below steps:

  • Please Login to your LMS instance using Native Login url (eg . https://demosystem.plateau.com/learning/admin/nativelogin.jsp  ) Use your login url instead of demosystem.plateau.com

  • From Admin page redirect to System administration >Configuration >System Configuration > BizX (Click on Edit sign)

  • Need to set the below values :

    Default                                                             -->                           Change it To


    successFactorsLearningEnabled=false            -->           successFactorsLearningEnabled=true




 

  • Enter the value for the BizX company IDsuccessFactorsCompanyID=${tenantID}  ---> successFactorsCompanyID=XYZ(Enter your Company ID)

  • Enter the IDP URL with company IdChange the Value for


metadataProviders[IDP1].type=SuccessFactorsHTTPMetadataProvider
metadataProviders[IDP1].value=https://saml-idp-server/idp/samlmetadata?company=${successFactorsCompanyID}



Eg : https://hcm10preview.sapsf.com/idp/samlmetadata?company=XYZ (As per above examples)

  • Now Login to provisioning click on your companyID of the instance you want to integrate to the LMS system * Service Provider Settings –> Authorized SP Assertion Consumer Service Settings
    * Choose Add another Service Provide ACS Enter Login URL & Logout as https://XYZ.plateau.com/saml/SSO & https://XYZ.plateau.com/saml/SingleLogout* Go to Company Settings Click the checkbox Enable SuccessFactors Learning Integration
    * Enter the field SuccessFactors Learning Integration URL with the LMS hostname
    * Enter  the field SuccessFactors Learning Integration API URL with the LMS host name.

  • Save

  • Now Login to BizX System and go to Admin Center


*  Admin center –> Manage permission roles
*  Enable Learning and the Learning Access Permission under Permissions
*  Enable Manage Learning and select the Learning Access Permission under Administrator                  Permissions , Save

  • Again Login to Native LMS system


* Create the Admin Account for the ID which you are using for Bizx Login and grant an Admin                 role .

 

Now go to Manage permission group –> create a permission group with LMS_ADMIN & assign Learning administrator group to the above role

 

  • Logout and Login again and you will be able to Access Learning now
