SAP S/4HANA for product compliance

Available from November 2020 on, the Manage Phrase-Enabled Fields app (links below) for SAP S/4HANA Cloud for product compliance was released to customers.  With this app, you can view and create phrases as well as enter additional information for use in product compliance apps. You can filter and search for phrases that meet your needs for capturing text-based information. You can also create new translations for an extensible phrase or a phrase you've created.

Other key features are being able to view translations associated with the corresponding phrase.  You can also hide phrases you no longer want in the value help of apps such as Manage First Aid Measures and Manage Physical-Chemical Properties.

A phrase is used in SAP S/4HANA Cloud for product compliance as a value for specific fields, such as in the compliance requirement World First Aid Measures or simply, Colors. Phrases contain standardized text strings that are provided in different languages, allowing you to use them for processes and documents needed for transporting and selling your products in many different countries.

Phrases are provided as SAP content for complying with regional, national, and international regulations. We recommend these standardized and harmonized compliant phrases as a solid basis for your phrase management. Optionally, you can also create your own phrases, based on provided content.

Check out this 2-minute video on how easy it is to create a phrase, add a translation and put in additional information for the phrase.
