New Features in SAP Subscription Billing (2020-11-11)

Welcome to our blog series about SAP Subscription Billing’s new features! This week, two nice features made in into our delivery. Let’s see together what’s new:

Display subscription and product assignments in Rate Plans app

In the Rate Plans app, the new Assignments tab shows you the subscriptions and products to which each rate plan is assigned. This feature is especially helpful if, as a user, you would like to monitor which rate plans are still in use in your system, and which ones are not anymore. From the result list you can navigate directly to the subscriptions or products that use the rate plan.

Improved handling of failed bill transfers to invoicing

You can now set up the transfer process to report to SAP Subscription Billing failed transfers for which successor documents are missing. In this case, the transfer status of the affected bills now shows that the transfer has failed.

You can also search for bills with this transfer status, to identify in one view all the bills that require your attention and need potentially to be reprocessed. After checking the root cause of the failed transfer, if you decide that those bills have to be transferred again, you can additionally reset their transfer status. The bill will then be retransferred in the next scheduled transfer run.
