User Experience Designed for HXM: What’s Available in the 2H 2020 Release

A year ago, we introduced human experience management (HXM), a new approach to HR and how we use HR technology. At SAP SuccessFactors, this means delivering software to the workforce that’s designed completely around what people need, how they work and what motivates them. With our HXM Suite, we empower HR to become the facilitator for people transformation. By putting people at the center of business and prioritizing their experiences, you can give them the freedom to choose what they want out of work. You can give people an environment that supports what they need to do their best, and to be their best self.

A key component of our HXM strategy is to enable a world-class people experience. We do this by looking at the key qualities of a modern user experience – contextual and individualized. Consider the last time you logged into Netflix or Amazon; they know what you’ve searched on and what you like. They know your preferences and your purchase history. So, how do we apply consumer experiences to our solution? As we look to reimagine experiences across the SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite, we start with better understanding how people behave, how they work, and what they need to feel connected and be productive. We consider what people now expect from technology –  individualized experiences, quick and easy access, insights and information without having to click a dozen times or ask a colleague where to find what they need.

With our newly designed home page, we bring these key design concepts – individualization, efficiency and opportunity – to life. Our new home page, launching in the 2H 2020 release, provides a new experience aimed at helping employees accomplish tasks easily, get insights into opportunities they didn’t even know about and to get them back to their work quickly! This is another step forward for SAP as we reimagine the user experience across the HXM Suite. On the home page we’ve enhanced the experience with dynamic content, time-sensitive tasks, ‘save for later’ options, and frequently performed actions to make it simple to access and take action right from the home page.  All the immediate tasks, access to actions, and content are organized based on what is most relevant to the user, providing the consumer-like experience your users expect. The home page is included with all solutions and available to all customers for opt-in with this release!
