I've been using the NW ABAP Trial in a VirtualBox machine for quite some time now and have noticed it can be a bit temperamental to say the least! So I had a look around and found this brilliant blog post written by c06922d80310458682761ce3da8164c3 on how to run the SAP NW ABAP Trial in Docker on Windows.

After following his blog post I decided to make a quick video tutorial outlining the steps on how to get going which you'll find here. I encourage you to raise any issues you might have run into along the way in that GitHub repo because it really does help everyone trying to get their docker setups working as well 🙂

I managed to get it working with the ABAP Trial 7.52 SP04 but is should work for 7.51 SP02 and above. So far, the user experience with the docker version is much better, and it's so easy to setup, so I would highly recommend you give it a go.

If you have any questions, please feel free to comment and I'll help where I can.

Thanks for reading!
