SAP HANA at Devtoberfest 2020
Update from 2020-09-24: Thanks everyone joining video premiers live! The recording of all sessions is available as a playlist now. Enjoy!
Time flies quickly. Next week will be the midpoint of the Devtoberfest from SAP: an open celebration of what makes us developers – Coding and Collaboration!
The event was launched on August 24th with 8 weeks of free technical enablement/educational online sessions open to the entire community to highlight key technologies and techniques. And I am very happy to remind you that next week Sep 21-25 is the week of
SAP HANA Advanced Analytics
with a focus on multi-model capabilities: processing geospatial and graph data using SAP HANA.
1. Enablement online sessions
With Markus Fath and Mathias Kemeter, development managers of SAP HANA Graph and Spatial, we prepared for you almost 3 hours of video that will be premiered Monday through Thursday at 15:00 CEST that week.
Starting from the historical context of the multi-model processing, through the discussion of fundamental concepts, to the details of SAP HANA support for multi-model data and processing, and demos of advanced use cases we hope to educate, entertain, and inspire you!
You will find all the video episodes with their premier times here on the Devtoberfest site:
While all the videos will be available for replay later on as well, we would encourage you to join during these live premiers to ask your questions and to participate in the discussion!
2. Get-started tutorial
We would recommend you to create a free trial instance of SAP HANA Cloud and to do the first steps working with multi-model capabilities by following this tutorial:
3. Office hours
If you want to further discuss your questions or share your experience using SAP HANA multi-model capabilities with Markus and Mathias, then please join us during Office hours on Sep 30th:
4. Do not miss any other Devtoberfest news or announcement
If you haven’t registered for the Devtoberfest yet, you still can do it as an individual with Eventbrite.
While the registration is not required for participation in the enablement sessions, it will get you regular updates on all the other activities happening through the rest of Devtoberfest leading to this year’s SAP TechEd!
Looking forward to seeing you (virtually) at Devtoberfest!
