Call for Proposals: SAP Community Talks at SAP TechEd 2020

++++++++++++ Submissions CLOSED ++++++++++++++

It’s that time of the year again! We’re talking about SAP TechEd Online, taking place December 8-10, where you can learn about latest updates of SAP technologies and products. But it’s also where the SAP Community unites to exchange knowledge and connects with peers and other experts.

We’re looking for your SAP Community Talks

We’re happy to announce that SAP Community Talks will take place this year fully online, with even more outreach to your SAP TechEd audience which consists of students, developers, engineers, architects, system administrators, DBAs, IT Managers, and others in technical job roles of SAP customers and partners. Community Talks are 20-minutes live sessions where you will be interviewed to share your experience. This can be either a short presentation or a demo including an interactive Q&A part. SAP TechEd is opening a call for proposals for community members and it is your chance to submit your community talk for SAP TechEd 2020 now!

Update: You can submit your proposal for following topics

Upskilling the developer of today: how to learn, adapt and focus on what’s important as a developer in this “new” world we find ourselves in today? Share your experiences and aha-moments during your SAP related projects, share best practices and tips specific to a product or a technology, talk about your SAP career journey and how to get to the next level, or how to establish and build recognition in the community.

Innovating with SAP: have you taken SAP into a new frontier? Have you come up with an innovative way of using SAP technology to solve business needs? Share your experience, inspiration and insights with the community.

SAP and open source: have you started, contributed or are actively using open source in your current SAP related projects? Tell us about your experience – if you started a project, what got you there? If you are contributing to a project, how are you benefiting from it? How has open source impacted your SAP projects? Share your insights and lessons learned.

      Hi Karin,

I know we had some other categories last year, but this year upskilling the developer of today will be the only and main focus for community talks.

      Hi Mynyna,

Thanks for the blog.  For the SAP community talks submission there is a question about  job roles (Job Roles of your session target audience:)  which includes administrator and architect. Can the sessions be submitted for administrator or architect audience?

Also, I have another question about SAP TechEd 2020. Will there be any ASUG-sponsored sessions this year?

      Thank you.

      Hi Gregor,

Thanks for your question, I was actually planning to publish a blog post that highlights all Community sessions. Coming soon...

To answer your question: You can filter for session type "channel 1". There all Session IDs starting with "CM" indicate Community sessions.

      Best regards

      Mynyna

Looks like this filter provides the results directly:
