How to find the Transport Request/Task for completed SAP configuration of any IMG Activity/ Node

Hi All,

We face a situation or find a scenario when we would like to know the list of all Transport Request and its associated task for a specific SAP configuration under SAP Customizing IMG Tree.We also want to know who all has done a changes to a business related specific configuration node/activity in the past. We are also interested to know when those changes were applied and moved to production system.

This information is very useful and handy during analysis of Incident,Audits and while working on Support/Enhancement/Upgrade Projects.

So lets understand this through a scenario where I want to know all the Transport Request for configured field info ” QM material authorization group.” This field gets updated with QM views of the material master. Required configuration node can be find as below.

Quality Management->Environment->Central Functions->Authorization Management->Define Authorization Groups and Digital Signature

Step 1.

Perform Transaction SE03, Select the below highlighted below option” Find Objects in Request/Task”

Step 2.

Click on the IMG activity Field and Select the node from the IMG Tree where required configuration has been done in the past and you would like to know all the related Transport Request and Task list as on date.

Step 3.

You can find all of the Transport Request in the below screen view, here you can find the TR number & Task, User who has created this request/task along with date and its current status.
