How to find an Idoc that has posted a SAP Document or made a Change to a SAP Document?
Introduction
It is always beneficial to find the Idocs associated with a SAP Document that got posted or updated.
Solution
Login to SAP and go to the Respective Transaction Code you wish to see Idoc Reference.
Here in this case I am going to Tcode FB03.
Now follow the below steps
Here we got the Relationship
Now lets us try to check a Material Master Update
Go to MM03 Tcode
Follow the below step
Below is the Result. If the Relationships is disabled that means no IDOC is associated with this document
Now we try to find the Material Number in WE09 Tcode as shown below
Wow we got it here.
Conclusion
This can be used in both SAP ECC and SAP S/4 HANA
Below is the video version
WE09
Hi, Thank you for sharing this.
The icon is not displaying in my ides system (version ECC 6.0 EhP6). Can you help me, please?
Hi
I think you might have some Authorization issue
https://answers.sap.com/questions/9844590/activating-service-for-object-in-material-master-m.html
or else you can go from this menu
In T-Code SU3, add paramter
SD_SWU_ACTIVE with a value of X.
At least this activates the Generic Object for Services toolbar for all the Sales Documents.
Hi Arghadip Kar
This is indeed a useful tip.
Thanks for sharing
