I am the topic lead for the Enterprise Support Value Map for Data Volume Management. As part of this role I work very closely with the SAP Enterprise Support Academy to ensure customers have up to date information on the topic of Data Volume Management

We are very happy to announce there are two new Meet The Expert sessions on the topic of Data Volume Management on 15th and 17th September


1) Do you have a large system that you want to convert to SAP S/4HANA or do you have too much data and too little downtime available to move? If you answer is yes to any part of the above questions, please consider the following NEW Meet the Expert session

Data volume management in the context of an SAP S/4HANA conversion

When : 15th September 9 am CET   


Goals:

  • Identify your options to reduce data volumes prior to migration to SAP S/4HANA.

  • Find out which SAP Enterprise Support services can help.

  • Investigate how to prioritize the data to be archived or deleted.

  • Learn how to access data in SAP S/4HANA that was archived in ECC.

2) Does you SAP S/4HANA system need to slim down and remain healthy and you want learn about new developments in tools and features of SAP HANA can help you achieve this ?

Data and memory volume management in the operation of SAP S/4HANA


When : 17th September 9 am CET

Goals:

  • Understand the options to manage data that needs to stay available and accessible (such as data archiving and data aging)

  • Discuss usage of SAP HANA Native Storage Extension (NSE)

  • Explore the DVM dashboard in one support launchpad (including new functionality)


All sessions will be recorded and added into the DVM Value Map (and learning hub soon afterwards
