How to set up data quality rules in SAP Master Data Governance on S/4HANA
In various conversations with master data specialists I heard them express the wish to set up data governance policies in a collaborative environment and without any system breaks.
Data quality management with SAP Master Data Governance on S/4HANA enables organizations, for example, to define data quality rules and data quality key performance indicators for product and business partner master data. It also lets you evaluate the quality of master data and its trend based on the rules defined.
For more details about data quality management with SAP MDG on S/4HANA, read, for example, the blog series by Andreas Seifried or watch the replays of recent SAP Community Calls about data quality management:
SAP development experts have now written a dedicated how-to document about setting up data quality rules in SAP Master Data Governance on S/4HANA. This “fresh-from-the-press” paper explains how to create a data quality rule and evaluate data quality based on a previously defined rule. It also explains how to analyze data quality evaluation results and correct the data flaws detected as part of the data quality evaluation.
Check it out at the MDG how-to library.

Hi, we are using MDG 1909 and there are only 2 options for data quality rule usage: data quality evaluation and change request, can you let me know on which version Mass processing and consolidation options can be enabled?
This is possible as of SAP MDG on S/4HANA 2020.
Ok Thanks, The "Messages " tab is also available in S4HANA 2020? where we can change Error into warning and add messages texts according to requirement?
