Portal Subscription in SAP Cloud Foundry

Hello Everyone

This Blogs will helps you in subscribing to portal service in SAP Cloud Foundry and creating Portal Site

Hope you are aware of configuring SAP Cloud Foundry. Now let us to Subscriptions, which is on the left side of the screen as shown in below screen. You might have seen no subscription available. Do not worry we need to enable required Subscriptions from Entitlements. So Click on Entitlements

 

Once you land on the Entitlements, click in the Configure Entitlements.

 

Now click on Add Service plans

 

Search for Portal in the search bar, we can see multiple Entitlements for Creating SAP Fiori Launchpad Sites and Portal Applications. Choose both of them and click on Add 2 Service plans

 

Once you are done with adding required Portal Entitlements, Click on Save.

 

Now again go back to subscription, we can see Portal which is not subscribed. Click on the Portal Tile

 

Now click on the Subscribe and once it got subscribed click on the Go to Application

 

We might not have requires authorization/roles to access to Portal Site. Let us add required roles.

 

Let us move to Trust Configuration --> Click on sap.default

 

Enter the logged in email id, click on Show Assignments, and choose Portal_Admin and Portal_External_User  roles to email id.

 

Again go back to Subscription --> Portal --> Click on Go to Application. You should able to see below screen. If you still face same blue screen error. Try to logout and login once again.

 

Conclusion : We have successfully subscribed for Portal and ready to create Portal Site in SAP Cloud Foundry.
