This blog post is part of a series called “Tip of the Week”.
Journal entry. The reflection of every business transaction, where there are always two sides for the story. Journal entry may be very simple with two lines only, but there are also very complicated ones involving multiple accounts and various amounts. Sometimes it looks very straight forward: the accounts and amounts stand out and you know immediately what is this journal entry about. For the other cases, more details are required.
To increase transparency and clarity SAP Business One extended the Remarks field in Journal Entry and the Journal Remark field in marketing documents to 254 characters allowing to add more detailed information when needed:
Available in SAP Business One 10.0 PL00 and SAP Business One 10.0, version for SAP HANA PL00.
