Convert Existing Equipment to Fleet Equipment

Instroduction

Requirment arises some times existing equipment to capture some additional inforamtion to diplay in Pool asset planning board display for that we need to do some configuration and master data change functionality to activated.

Process Steps

Current views of equipment master can be viewed through IE03

Display Equipment master

We need to configure technical object as Fleet pbject we need to follow below SPRO Path

starting from Technical object configuration  and view profiles for Technical Object

View profiles for technical object

Configure by giving object type and description

Next we have to configure for view profile for Technical object

View Profile for Technical object

Assighn link between View profile ,Equipment catotegory  and Technical object type

Config as follow

Then if we goto change mode and try to give the configured technical object than automatically Fleet screen will appear

Conclusion – In this way we can activate Fleet mangment any time with any equipment category which can be used later stage for Pool Asset and Fuel Consumption etc processs
