Five times the number of people over last year attended SAPPHIRENOW 2020 last week.   If you missed it the YouTube list is here.  It's not over as there are so many videos to watch.

I attended a few sessions live, but I still have many more to watch.  This is the first virtual SAPPHIRENOW that I know of.

Looking back after attending my first SAPPHIRENOW in 1998 in Los Angeles, I am grateful the event still took place, after the pandemic, and I am glad the content is available world-wide.

How did it look on social media?  I captured some of the twitter feed towards the end of the week (3 days only), and here is what it shows.

SAP Analytics Cloud shows most of the tweets came from the Twitter Web App.  Interesting too about Buffer.

Top tweeters include SAP employees, and analyst Holger Mueller.

Single word text analysis is shown above.  It's no surprise that SAPPHIRENOW was the top word, or "business" since the conference is a business conference.

Top two words are shown above - supply chain, business technology, and SAP CTO juergen.mueller are top two words.

Business Technology Platform was a top 3 word phrase on social media, along with the intelligence enterprise.  If you are interested in following the new tag "Business Technology Platform" on the SAP Community, SAP's craig.cmehil shows you how in this video.

Top 4 words are shown above, with "unification" being a key word.  Unifying the platform, unifying SAP technologies were some key themes shown last week.

The above shows key 4 words in SAC's R word cloud visualization.

Recovery is also a keyword, recovering after the pandemic.

Overall, I enjoyed the event.  I was able to attend some of the EMEA sessions before work began.  But given that I am working, I couldn't dedicate myself to the event for the whole week.  I am grateful to attend without having to travel.  I do miss the networking, the discussions, and barista that ASUG had on the 3rd floor of the convention center.
