Guide to LMS UI 5 Navigation Changes
Successfactors has rolled out its new HTML UI 5 Navigation interface to replace FLASH as FLASH component will be removed from LMS Successfactors on 20th November 2020. At present I am working on the new UI and I have observed lot of changes in new UI component of LMS. Currently UI interface is deployed in preview instance of SAP Successfactors. Business users can navigate through both FLASH and HTML UI in preview instance.
We can log on to HTML UI 5 component in Successfactors by going to Home > Admin Centre > Learning Administration> Home.
Select Use the updated Learning Administration application here as shown in screen shot below.
HTML UI 5 Screen will appear as below
In New UI menu has moved to Left side under Home.
There are few terminology changes from Flash component to HTML UI 5 component. Terminology has been improved by SAP Successfactors for clarity, consistency, and allignment across the SAP Successfactors suite.
For example, Items are now called as Courses. Schedule offerings are called as Classes.
These terminology changes are highlighted below
Terminology changes for System Administrators
1.Power search has been disabled in new UI.
2. Organization dashboard impact on user side, removed functionality from Plateau will be removed 2H 2020 Release.
3. Item classification is not defined for creating an item like in old UI
4. Welcome to SuccessFactors Administration video/tutorial and the Home page quicklinks has been removed.
Conclusion
I hope above information is helpful in understanding new UI for LMS Successfactors.

Hi!
Is it possible to hide "Home" tab or at least the text under "Welcome" section so that user don't click on the link to launch new UI for LMS Admin as we want to train the users before they and comes up with lot of queries?
Regards,
AQIB
What about native access based on Plateau for external users, will be available this function yet?
