Talk on LGBTQIA+ inclusion with SAP SuccessFactors Engineering Management team
Manager’s play a key role in diversity and inclusion. We at SAP firmly believe, any change needs to flow top-down as well as bottom-up. Leadership endorsement and sponsorship really sets the context when it comes to business code of conduct and inclusive culture which we strive for.
On June 9th, Sameer Ranjan Kumar, Pride@SAP lead, engaged in a conversation with the management team of SAP SuccessFactors Engineering. It started with Sameer’s coming out story, which was followed by varied topics like societal stereotyping, homophobia, transphobia, unconscious bias and so on and so forth.
Second part of the talk was around SAP’s offerings for the LGBTQIA+ community. There was also a broadcast of upcoming sessions which are planned for the Pride Month. Role of allies was discussed and there was a very positive response from the audience.
Here are a couple of feedback testimonials that the session received :
Great session Sameer, really heartening to hear your story and educating us on this important topic!
