Dear customers and partners,

following yesterday’s launch of the fully managed SAP Cloud Platform, Kyma runtime (SKR), we are excited to be part of this new chapter of SAP’s extensibility story.

Our SAP Customer Experience solutions have been the front runners, embracing the cloud native extensibility framework as an open source offering and we are really excited about the scenarios, which you, our customers and partners, will realize with the new fully managed offering.

It´s SAP’s Kubernetes/Gardener based runtime in which customers and partners can build cloud-native applications and services to extend SAP and non-SAP solutions. “SAP Cloud Platform Extension Factory, Kyma runtime” comes now with the tight technical and commercial integration with SAP Cloud Platform and standard enterprise SLAs. The SAP Cloud Platform Cockpit now becomes the central entry point to the new management plane, allowing you to connect multiple applications and manage your Kyma runtimes (find more details here ).

Consequentially, the extensibility section will be removed from the SAP Customer Experience cockpit after a transition period*.

Besides the new offering “SAP Cloud Platform Extension Factory, Kyma runtime”, you will of course still be able to leverage the free open source Kyma as per the steps outlined here.

Join this SAP Customer Experience webinar on Tuesday, 23rd of June at 10AM CEST or 4PM CEST to learn more about the new offering.

We can’t wait to see you taking customer experience innovation to the next level with SAP Customer Experience solutions and SAP Cloud Platform, Kyma runtime (SKR)!

* SAP CX customers and partners, who have provisioned Kyma runtimes via the SAP Customer Experience cockpit, will be able to access these from the SAP Customer Experience cockpit until 30th of June 2020.
