Meet the streakers. You can be one too!
Now that so many of us are online so much every day as we work from home (#WFH), we think it’s time to recognize those of you who make the SAP Community a regular part of your day, day after day. If you like to share your knowledge and help other members tirelessly, we have two new streak missions for you.
To earn the SAP Community Fan 2020 badge, you’ll need to participate in the community every day for 5 days in a row (one day = midnight to midnight based on UTC time):
To earn the extra-special SAP Community Fireball 2020 badge, you’ll need to participate in the community every day for 30 days in a row (again, based on UTC time):
I’m happy to announce that these missions are now available to be achieved, and as a surprise, we have just awarded the first set of badges to some unsuspecting SAP Community members. See the list below.
Interested in becoming a streaker too? You’ll find the requirements for each mission on our Missions and Badges overview page.
Note that these missions are not repeatable in the same year, but if you earn one (or both) in 2020, you will be able to earn them again in 2021.
IMPORTANT: These badges are NOT awarded automatically. We award them manually, once a month. So in the future, if you believe you met the requirements, but you haven’t been notified yet that you have earned one of these missions, please be patient. It may take as long as a month for you to receive the badge after you’ve earned it. Thank you!
And congrats to our first streakers!
Hello Audrey,
Thanks for the new mission! I was searching what is all about this new badge and right after the search your blog got posted 🙂
Cheers!

WOW!!!
Congratulations, everyone, for being honored as active members of SAP Community!
I like my new badge - thank you, Audrey, for this "secret mission" 🙂
Hi Audrey Stevenson,
Thanks alot.
Thanks a lot Audrey!
Always happy to participate in SAP Community... and to promote SAP Intelligent RPA! ?
Thanks Audrey Stevenson and nice to see lot of members got this new badge. Keep continuing this by introducing new badges in the months to come.
Does this mean business days? I.e. M-F? I.e. if you aren't active on Sat/Sun you can't get fireball?
Craig
It does not mean business days, it means calendar days. And yes, it's definitely a challenge to achieve Fireball.
I'd say. Could be achieved only under lockdown 😉
Thanks Audrey! For the Fireball, is the 30 days in consecutive business days or calendar days? If it's calendar days, I guess I'll have to start logging in on the weekends too....
-Dell
Yes, calendar days.
Hi to all.
Thanks Audrey Stevenson, Congrats to all
Regards
Sriram
Thanks Audrey!
Always a pleasure and pure fun in the Community!
Cheers!
Dries
Thanks Audrey Stevenson!! It looks wonderful 🙂
Thanks Audrey Stevenson 🙂
Logging for 30 consecutive days, including week-ends, wow!
"Streaker" is a better name than "no-life", but I'm not sure to like this name either 😉
In Stack Overflow, the badge for 30 days is named "Enthusiast" and for 100 days it's named "Fanatic" (and nothing above 100 days).
After the fireball badge, will you create the badge "Cataclysmic variable star" for 100 days? 😉
"no-life" haha :D, I was just thinking about that. now I just have to wait for my friends to see this and make fun of me 😛 (JK)
and yeah, it would be nice to have for 100 days or even for 360 days 😀 😀
sandra.rossi , maheshkumar.palavalli , we considered longer streaks, but felt it might not promote a good work/life balance. If the community really wants longer streaks, though, we may reconsider...hmmm... Personally I'm torn on this one.
Thanks for the update. I was mostly joking and just comparing to Stack Overflow. I’m not even fan of the badges in fact, so I’m happy that SAP don’t add such a badge, so that to preserve a good work/life balance.
? agree with sandra and I was not serious when I said 360 :D, it just can’t be done, unless if the person really takes it seriously as some competition and which is something you guys don’t want here ?
But 150 days or more is fine as long as it’s not in sequence. and you could consider upvoting questions or answers or blogs or even commenting as part of this, as that will not have negative effects on worklife balance ’cause you won’t have to invest more time to answer. How long this activity takes, probably 5 or 10 min a day, and people spend more time on social media everyday ?
So maybe a rare badge like active contributor for the year or community supporter badge (or some better name) for the people who contribute in their own ways for some extended period of time would be cool & motivating more people to interact more in community.
That's an interesting idea, Mahesh. I'll take that into consideration as we consider more missions and badges.
Audrey Stevenson
I am proud for your mention and be a part of SAP Comunity.
I so nice to help people in your knowledge.
Many Thanks and cheers.

Encouraging mission
Thank you, Audrey Stevenson 🙂
Great Initiative Audrey Stevenson !
Love the new missions! Keep 'em coming no matter how big or small. 🙂
Question: What is the definition of "participate" for this mission? Logging on to the Community? Liking a blog? Responding to a blog post? Writing a blog or question?
Hi Peter,
You'll find the specifics on the Missions and Badges overview page.
Great! Thanks... I knew I should have looked there first. 😉
Thank you Audrey Stevenson
Nice blog post on new badges. These badges will engage community members in the right direction to allocate/spend some time in day for learning.
Best Regards,
