SAP Intelligent Robotic Process Automation

Introducing my self – I am Pritesh Contractor, over 5 years of experience in Robotics Process Automation and have worked with various major RPA tools in market. Being experience in this field, I am always investing in myself through learning and development and I came across SAP Intelligent Robotic Automation – thanks SAPIntelligentAutomation team for providing such a structured, well organized and in depth training which has lead me to write this blog.

Automating Processes within Core SAP Products (Desktop or Cloud Based which are more secured and RPA tools cannot interact with the objects easily) is always been challenging with different RPA Tools, there are ways to automate such products using features and functionalities like Image Recognition, On Screen Co-ordinate matching, Exposing DLLs or APIs by enabling SAP Scripting. But do you think it always works?

Many Organization do not allow to enable scripting because enabling scripting leads to executing the transactions within SAP faster and it may results into putting more load on to the system and majority of ICT does not want to enable it due to security reasons. Specifically when you ask within public sector organizations or organizations who deals with secure information stored in SAP.

During this pandemic situation where like others I am also stepped down from my challenging and adventurous job. I started investing in myself and come across “SAP Intelligent Robotic Process Automation” – Thanks to #SAPIntelligentAutomation Team for such a in-depth training sessions. SAP – you heard correctly, being market leader in enterprise application software and especially known for its ERP Software, has launch their own product called “SAP Intelligent Robotic Process Automation” accelerates digital transformation of business processes by automatically replicating tedious actions that have no added value.

SAP Intelligent Robotic Process Automation” solution is cloud platform, which interacts with various SAP Modules including conversational AI and Chatbot and provide wider ecosystem and help automating various process within and outside SAP.

How SAP Intelligent Robotic Process Automation could be a key differentiator:

  1. Technology agnostics, which means it does not work only with SAP but also with other Desktop based, web based applications
  2. Application Programming Interface leverage makes bots more robust
  3. Out of the box automation with prebuilt SAP Processes within S/4 HANA which makes it faster and reliable implementation of SAP Intelligent Robotic Process Automation
  4. Integration with various SAP Modules including Conversational AI and Chatbots helps in automating various processes
  5. Cloud based platform providing reach orchestration
  6. Continuously improving the product and adding new functionalities

During my recent learning on their portal I also come across a training which gives broader concepts about how “SAP Intelligent Robotic Process Automation” is a strategic area for SAP S/4 HANA and enable technology that allow embedding intelligent and automation.

I believe this is a most important step by SAP, as many organizations are already or may be migrating or implementing to SAP S/4 HANA for strengthening there business operations and with integration of SAP Intelligent Robotic Process Automation it will provide a wider ecosystem to them as they can easily leverage the subscription of SAP Intelligent Robotic Process Automation and automate processes through in built automated processes and cloud based platform.

What can we do, if the organization does not allow scripting? What's the alternative?
