The objective of this blog post is to explain the analytical insights provided by the customer demand report and the underlying data source.

Warehouse Managers or Supply Planners want to have a complete overview of the demand in terms of quantities and dates that can result from sales orders that are fulfilled either internally or externally, as well as from service orders, stock transfer orders, and project stock orders independent if they are delivered or not started yet. Furthermore, they might want to drill down to the schedule line level and its corresponding confirmation and delivery data as they could do in the view 'Customer Demand' in the Work Center 'Outbound Logistics Control'.

With the report customer demand details, you can select and display the field available on the customer demand UI and investigate on the schedule line details like the requested dates and quantities, confirmation dates and quantities, the promised dates and quantities as well as the delivered dates and quantities.
