Recruiting – Time to organize, optimize and polish things up!

Organize, optimize and polish up! – During this time of social distancing and sheltering-in-place – we’ve heard many stories about how people are getting organized and tackling home projects. Why not consider doing the same within SuccessFactors Recruiting?

 

  • Start with a “walk in their shoes”
    • External Candidates: When is the last time you reviewed the external candidate apply process? Head out to your organization’s website and click through to critique what your external candidates experience.
      • Is it intuitive to find the Careers area?
      • What is the navigation experience – is it easy-to find links?
      • Count the number of clicks it takes to navigate through to apply to an opportunity
      • Make certain to canvas this experience on a computer as well as a mobile device – how does the experience compare?
    • Hiring Managers: How are your hiring managers doing since many organizations have shifted to remote working? Review the requisition and candidate pipeline experience from the hiring manager perspective.
      • Are the correct permissions in place for hiring managers to view data on the requisition and within the candidate pipeline?
      • Are there areas of opportunity to communicate with the hiring manager to keep them informed during the requisition and candidate pipeline process? Utilizing Recruiting Email Triggers and Pipeline Communications are a great way to keep roles on the requisition informed of updates and progress
      • Are there areas that could use instruction? Maybe something that is difficult to navigate – consider utilizing the Custom Help Text feature, Show-Me Video and Status Set leading practices to create efficiencies
    • Recruiters – Along the lines of creating efficiency – there are recent features that have been released into the product to help recruiters. How about creating a list of tips and tricks to help them manage candidate pools and searching?
      • Filter options within candidate slate
      • Freeze-column feature
      • Message Center – there is a feature available to centralize email communications with candidates
