Now that we have the Mysql Created and the SAP Open Conector configured we have to create an API Management Service in Neo Environmento, to perform this part of the process you will have to go back to the Home page of the SAP trial account and choose the option to open the Neo Environment.

After being inside of the Neo Environment you will access the services section and search for the API Management service and enable this service.

In the Service click firs in the link Access API Portal and after open the Access API Portal and Access Developer Portal Links as shown bellow:

1.1 Configuring API Portal

already inside of the Access API Portal link click in the configurations icon.

In the page shown create a new api provider:

In this page put the mane of the api provider and click in connection section:

Choose the open connector option in the type box:

To fill the organization Secret and User secret you will need to go back in the Open Connector page and click in the User icon as shown bellow:

Copy this two information and go back to the API Management and paste in connector page and save.

1.2 Create Rest API for the connection

Click in the Develop section and create a new API.

In this section you will find the connection that you have created and click on discover:

Select the open connector that we have created.

Click in create

After creating you must save and deploy this API this will create an URL that we will use after:

After everything is done correctly you will find your API Rest endpoint like this:

Follow the API showing data from the t_category table:

Now we have the API Management Portal avaliable and can be accessed by the API Proxi Url, now we need to create the destination to make this API avalaiable to the APP.

In the next post (Part IV ) I will show how we can use this information inside of one SAP Fiori/SAPui5 Application.
