By now you may have heard me talk about SAP’s Business Technology Platform – our portfolio of integrated solutions that accelerate transformation of data into business value.
In case you haven’t, the Business Technology Platform – in a nutshell – includes products and solutions such as SAP HANA, SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Cloud Platform, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Data Warehouse Cloud, and SAP’s intelligent technologies. It is designed to provide customers with a unified platform, that embraces an open architecture, and is business-centric.
As CTO of SAP, it is essential for me to listen to our customers and partners, provide answers and support them on their way to becoming an Intelligent Enterprise. Of course, it is relevant for them to see how the Business Technology Platform fits into their day-to-day work. Whenever I talk to them, I hear questions like: “How can you help me to handle big amounts of data and derive insights from it?”, “How do integration scenarios of SAP and non-SAP applications in the cloud as well as on-premise look like?”, “How do I extend my SAP applications and what is the benefit of this for me as a customer?” and so on.
There is no one better to answer these questions than experts themselves from the respective fields in SAP. That is why I talked to seven different colleagues for a video series on the Business Technology Platform and invited them to show us how the solutions they represent tackle these key customer challenges. In the upcoming weeks, you will learn about, for instance, how integration can be simplified and accelerated via the SAP Cloud Platform Integration Suite. Using demos, we will also explore how to create extensions for your applications and how SAP HANA manages all kinds of data within a single cloud solution in just a few clicks.
Next week, the series will kick-off with SAP Analytics Cloud Planning. Videos about SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Data Warehouse Cloud, SAP Data Intelligence, SAP Cloud Platform Extension Factory, SAP Cloud Platform Integration Suite, and SAP Graph will follow within the next few weeks.
I hope you find these video tutorials useful and get an even better understanding of how all our solutions come together and help you tackle your business challenges.
PS: To be fully transparent, all videos were created before #WorkFromHome.
