SAP Live Access Updates

As of March, SAP Live Access has undergone some functional changes. All learners with a valid SAP Live Access subscription can now use all courses, as system category limitations have been removed. New subscribers can now choose whether they would like to have a subscription with 60 hours included training time (HUB360) or to have, as before, 20 hours training time (HUB320) included in their yearly subscription.

The user interface of the SAP Live Access portal has also been updated to reflect these functionality changes, such as a new column on the course catalog indicating the system availability: pre-deployed or ready for deployment. Courses indicated as pre-deployed are available immediately for access while courses indicated as ready for deployment take some time to deploy until ready for access.

Adoption Dashboard for SAP Learning Hub

– For users of private cloud versions of SAP Learning Hub.

Private cloud version customers of SAP Learning Hub can now benefit from a new functionality: the adoption dashboard for SAP Learning Hub. This dashboard gives customers a unified and integrated view on their learners’ use of SAP Learning Hub.

Customers can now monitor their key learning statistics to gain insights and drive decisions for their SAP enablement planning. The initial release of the dashboard already contains several dashboard pages, including graphical charts about user activation and logins, online course and program consumption, learning time spent, and a learning value simulator. Customers can also design their own graphical charts and export individual usage data to CSV files for a customized experience. The dashboard is technically based on SAP HANA and SAP Analytics Cloud, a fully web based, all-in-one cloud solution for business intelligence, planning, and predictive analytics.

Eligible users can request access and an introduction to the dashboard by opening a support ticket for SAP Learning Hub. The support ticket should include the username, email address, and a corresponding S-user ID for the user who will access the dashboard.

Your Opinion Needed: Soft Skill Titles and Learning Journeys

We have a new test lab topic for you to share your opinion on. Do you think it is a good idea to add a small amount of non-SAP specific books to Learning Journeys which cover the background context of the Learning Journey as a whole? For example, including titles on the basic principles of accounting inside of a financial accounting Learning Journey?

The idea is to ensure those who are completely new to the topic can also access resources which help them understand the context of the SAP solution they are studying. In order to participate in the survey, login to SAP Learning Hub, join the Welcome Room*, then click on the test lab blog* for further information. Please vote in the polls and leave a comment for us.
