Different types of visualization mode for dimension filter in SAP Lumira Designer Part 1

HI guys!

In this blog post we will discuss about the different visualization mode in dimension filter in lumira designer. The different mode are default, dropdown, list , text, range, date, radio, Slider ,Complex,single select.

The visualization mode option is find in the display section of the dimension filter.

 



So ,We will go one by one with example.

1.Default

I have selected  the default visualization mode in dimension filter. The prompt will open and you will be able to select the values to be filtered . We can do multiple selection in this filter.

 





 



The value which you have selected will be reflected in the table.

 

2. Drop down

The visualization mode in dimension filter in now set to Drop down mode in this the dimensions will be shown as the drop down and you will be able to select the value for filtration The drop down will allow for the multiple selection.

3.List Box

The visualization mode in dimension filter in now set to list box  mode. In this we get all the values of the dimensions in the list you can select the value to filtered by selecting the check box and and selecting again will deselect will the value. Here also we can do multiple selection.



 

4.Text

The visualization mode in dimension filter in now set to Text mode. In this we can enter the input value to filtered and press to enter to apply the filter. we can also add multiple inputs one after the another. It will filter the target according to the input provided.

 



 



So we have filtered the target by the input provided as text.

 

Conclusion

 

In part of this blog post  i have discussed some of the different visualization mode in dimension filter we will discuss the others modes in the part 2.
