A little but powerful SAP Intelligent RPA bot for SAP S/4HANA

The challenge

During the recurring monthly closing phase, an update of assets depreciation can be carried out.
This may involve several cost or profit centers.

Unfortunately, some of these centers may be locked into the system.

I clearly imagine some of you unlocking them manually, indeed through a simple procedure, but which can be tedious and repetitive for all centers…!

The solution

Among all the pre-built bots templates already available in SAP Intelligent RPA Store, or in SAP S/4HANA best practices, the lock/unlock bot allows to process centers.

Having a list of candidate centers in an Excel sheet, the bot navigates through the UI, test and unlock if needed.

The following video shows the entire process automated by the bot.

In the same time, the bot can be easily upgraded to add more features, such as combining lock and unlock tasks, or automatically sending email if unsuccessful lock/unlock.
