Symptom

Before S/4HANA Cloud CE 2002, when SAP S/4HANA Cloud system is initial set up or upgraded, then content activation activity may fail with error message “W_WLFA_0016” (“IMG”) – “Specify Text Determination (Access sequence)”.

Cause

End users could maintain ‘‘Partner Description’ in SSCUI in following configuration path: Manage your Solution -> Configure your Solution -> Set up partner determination -> Set up partner determination for sales document header -> Partner Function Conversion.

Before S/4HANA Cloud CE 2002, the field ‘Partner Description’ could be maintained as empty in Partner Function Conversion setting, this empty value will lead to error during content activation.

Solution

From S/4HANA Cloud CE 2002, there are following three changes for Partner Function Conversion setting.

  1. ‘Partner Description’ field is renamed as ‘Partner Function (Language Specific)’. The previous term is incorrect, this field is used as language dependent code from business point of view.
  2. Partner Function (Language Specific)‘ field is enabled as mandatory field for input to prevent content activation issue.

  3. Partner Function‘ field is enabled as mandatory field for input to prevent content activation issue.
