Part 12: Adding an extension field to standard objects

In this video you will learn how to extend a new field with the Cloud Application Studio. It is very easy and very common to extend fields with the front end adaptation but in some specific cases you might want to utilize the Cloud Application Studio for that.

In our example we would like to create a field on the quote line item in order to link our previously build custom seminar mgmt. to a line item. This is only the first part and three more parts will follow. We will start here with just adding a field and in the following videos we will also create a value selector for that field, we will provide a nice description instead an ID for it and we will also learn how to retrieve with an ID information from another business object.

But for now enjoy the first video where we extend the quote line items with an extension field.
