We've curated this FAQ to answer questions related to the SAP Build sunset. Please feel free to ask questions in your comments and we will update this FAQ regularly.
What’s happening?
SAP Build is moving into maintenance and has been retired from the SAP price list. We will continue to support SAP Build until the end of all customer contracts, so we will keep delivering bug fixes and SAPUI5 updates to the service. Existing customers can continue to use SAP Build and invite new users to participate in the prototyping and user feedback process. Subscription customers can still purchase additional user licenses until the end of their license term. CPEA customers will have until July 15 to activate SAP Build for their license term. Trial accounts will be allowed for the near-term, but users will be unable to upgrade to an enterprise license.
Why the change?
SAP made this decision to focus our development resources on fewer, but more strategic topics to help customers derive quicker value in creating SAP Fiori applications. We have reallocated the investments in SAP Build to an integrated set of UX tools for faster and smoother transition from Fiori design to development. The learning we gained in creating SAP Build will carry forward.
Is there an immediate replacement for SAP Build?
Not at this time, however
SAP Fiori elements is receiving enhancements in performance, ease of use, and functionality. We are also introducing a new solution,
SAP Fiori tools, that will combine requirements-gathering, prototyping, project generation and service and application modelling. We are planning to announce a Customer Engagement Initiative (CEI) project for customers interested in shaping the future of these capabilities.

Will SAP Build be updated to support Fiori 3?
Yes. SAP Build will continue to be updated with latest Fiori 3 SAPUI5 controls and to support platform requirements and critical customer defects.
What else can we use to prototype free-form SAP Fiori applications?
SAP Fiori Design Stencils provide high-fidelity drafts of SAP Fiori UI components. You can use Stencils to visualize SAP Fiori apps and to get a realistic impression of your final design. Stencil sets are available for PowerPoint and Axure RP and will be updated soon for Fiori 3.
Can licensed SAP Build customers buy additional user licenses?
Yes, until their current end-of-license term. Customers can purchase additional licenses through their AE or through the SAP Digital store using the “Contact us” button.
How long will the SAP Build service be available?
Licensed SAP Build customers are fully supported to the end of their contract date, and the SAP Build website will remain available for the next several years. Trial accounts are allowed; however SAP reserves the right to close trial accounts at any time.
May I continue to use SAP Build with a trial license?
Limited trial licenses are allowed for the near-term; but may be discontinued at any time. Enterprise accounts cannot be down-ported to trial accounts.
How can I export/download my SAP Build prototypes?

the instructions for “Sharing your Prototypes” here to download individual prototypes to a local drive.
