SAP Best Practices for SAP Integrated Business Planning – 2002

As you might know, we provide each quarter a new version of the SAP Best Practices for SAP Integrated Business Planning.
Besides the upgrade and test of the content and the technical assets based on the newest release, we enhance our scope with new topics and features.

Here the highlights for the 2002 version:

Enhancements and changes for Sample Model SAPIBP1

The SAPIBP1 sample planning area now comes with the optional feature to copy sample analytics and alerts. This is a big step ahead and considerably reduces your manual configuration efforts for the Best Practices processes. Means that you get with one click the following content types copied into your new planning area:

  • Sample alert definitions
  • Sample alert subscriptions
  • Sample alert overviews
  • Sample dashboards
  • Sample analytics charts
  • Sample supply chain network charts

Another change is related to the disaggregate operators which were migrated to the new PPF framework and removed from the SAPIBP1 model.
