In December 2019, over 1000 SAP professionals, experts and partners descended upon The ICC in Birmingham for 3 full days of learning, networking, collaborating and influencing.
UK & Ireland SAP User Group is a membership organisation of SAP users in the UK & Ireland, which represents a cross-section of businesses and industries. UKISUG Connect, the User Group's annual conference, is the largest annual gathering of the SAP community in the UK and Ireland with participants from across the spectrum of SAP customers, partners, experts an executives. What better place for SAP users to get their burning questions answered.
Engaging Minds and Empowering Success was the theme for UKISUG Connect 2019.
And the conference certainly achieved this theme, boasting an exciting programme that offered something of interest to everyone, regardless of where they are on their SAP journey. There was over 100 specialist sessions to choose from with more than 40 customer presentations - ensuring the event was both educational and informative, without the SAP bias. The programme was organised along 14 tracks that covered perennial SAP topics such as Optimising Your SAP; S/4HANA; Financial Excellence; Usability and Analytics - as well as the newer topics of Digital Supply Chain and Customer Experience Management. There was also a session to help delegates understand the issue of licensing - something for everyone. On the Sunday, workshops provided hands-on experiences for delegates choosing to arrive then - which was the biggest turn out yet!
The new feature, Soapbox Sessions, proved extremely popular - especially the mindfulness sessions that began each day. The networking breaks gave partners the opportunity to get on their soapbox and shout about their latest innovations in the SAP world - which delegates loved hearing about the future of SAP, first.
We know it’s a time consuming and laborious process searching for new partners to help you on your SAP journey. So, we provided
80 suppliers all in one place for all delegates to engage with within the networking breaks. This allowed them to find the one to deliver what they want, when they want and for the budget they have.
Another new feature for this year,
UKISUG Networking Tables facilitated a group of individuals with similar interests to discuss current, specific and relevant SAP related issues or industries. An excellent, structured opportunity to share thoughts and learn from like-minded delegates!
Monday evening held the ultimate social and networking event for UKI SAP Users
– the infamous SUGFest! SAP professionals continued the conversation with their new and renewed contacts in a more informal environment. All of this with the added bonus of some amazing live music, enjoying the various live acts and sampling our street food and cocktails.
