From analytical app you can drill down to transactional app, make document changes, return to analytical apps to see updated numbers. This completes closed loop insight to action scenario. In my scenario I use custom Open Order analytical app to analyze data and release documents that are on credit hold. The latter updates analytical app numbers completing the loop.
Clicks on Not Approved segment of pie chart on Overview Page to navigate to List report
Selects Sales Order and click on Release Credit Hold button for Insight to Action
Releases Sales Order credit hold
Refresh List report to close the loop and to see how numbers changed
Navigate back to Overview Page and see that pie chart changed as well
