Inventory Diagnostics for Retail (IDR) provides an overview of the stock situation throughout the supply chain. It identifies the root cause of zero and overstock and quantifies the financial damage caused by lost revenue and cost of overstock. IDR helps to improve inventory level beyond automated replenishment. The following KPIs will benefit from IDR
IDR dashboards are built with the SAP Design Studio Application and the user can access them via an Internet Browser. The initial selection is tied to the user and can consist of a variety of master data attributes & time frames. The available variables are in the initial installation set with fixed values. This fixed pre-selection is described in the BW Modelling document. The specific pre-selections per user role need to be set via user exit as part of BW build phase. How the specific user selection looks like should be defined as part of the user stories or in the functional design phase.
