Upgrade to Oracle 19c with activated TDE (Tablespace Encryption) was tested also

Hi Community Members,

Another great news for you waiting for the Oracle 19c Release by SAP.

The upgrade test with oracle TDE to 19c using the SAP standard methods and tools was successful.

As usual and just as I expected, there were no major blockers happening, although here are some points to mention:

• although wallet was recognized by DBUA, it was not used during the upgrade.
  Meaning this needed to be set up again after the upgrade.
• Software Deinstallation of old ORACLE_HOME could be run into a warning due to protection of ewallet, but the tool still succeeds. Meaning manual intervention is required afterwards
