Awesome people at SAP TechEd
Writing a non technical blog post is twice as hard as writing a tech. post π π . Kudos to all those people who write those wonderful stuff πΒ .Β But I got some super secret advice from Nabheet Madan and here I am with this post π
So this was my second time attending the TechEd but this time it was more exiting and fun compared to the first. The main difference is that I met a lot of awesome folks there which made my experience at TechEd an awesome one π π
and now I decided to give a shout out blog post to all those people who made myTechEd a Fun Learning event π <No Technical or Event updates>
My journey started a day early at the Influencers reception party, I am not one of them ;p but was lucky to get an invite thanks to Nabheet Madan and Katarina Nonhebel π π It was an awesome party and I met some wonderful people over there. I had an awkward moment there when I spilled the beer ?? and I was not even drunk ???
So the first Community person that I met and who is a friend & a mentor thanks to SAP Community – “Connecting Tech Guys π ” is Nabheet Madan. He introduced me to the CAP world and now I am hooked to DJ Adams HandsOnDev videos π
Talking about CAP, I met some of our CAP Celebs there DJ Adams Maximilian StreifenederΒ Β Marius Obert
and I also met DJ Adams at multiple occasions at TechEd mostly at his sessions and Developer Garage (Too many people over there, so I had to skip dev. garage π ) He was always warm and welcoming whenever he finds us(Nabheet, Gaurav, myself) at the event π .
Quiz conducted by DJ Adams and Maximilian Streifeneder is probably the most crowded sessions π π . Lucky, I attended them both:) But not lucky enough to win π π
There was a also a small fight at his session π – “Static Electricity VS DJ Adams” (at his functional programming session π ) and DJ Adams with his mighty FP sword ended up as the winner π
Nabheet also introduced me some awesome community folks Gaurav Karkara Vijay Sharma and sachin nagal. I follow them by their blog posts and QA in the community. I attended a lot of sessionsΒ with them in the next three days at teched. It was my pleasure meeting you guys.
(Myself, Nabheet, Sachin)
Then I met Krishna Kishor Kammaje whom I used to follow from a long time and still find his blog posts or answers whenever I search for my issue π .Β I also met him multiple times at TechEd and had a conversation with him about Fiori launchpad and plugins and ended up with so many questions and doubts π which I’ve to now explore π π .
(Krishna, Myself, Gaurav, Vijay & nabheet)
Almost forgot!!, so practically the first person I met was Suhair, couldn’t find his community id. He, nabheet and I had some of our little adventures at TechEd where we were treated like VIP’s π πΒ It was really nice meeting you Suhair!!Β I really enjoyed your demo on Intelligent Enterprise & RPA which gave a holistic view of SAP’s Intelligent Enterprise.
Now moving on to TechEd, next 3 days were busy attending sessions, coding & meeting people. There I met Sumit Kumar Kundu, The Fiori guy, I know from SAP Community via his blog posts and answers and also Mahesh Chandra VVNS . We even got some pics together! Nice meeting you two!!
(Mahesh, Sumit, Vijay & Myself)
There I met Vaibhav Maheshwari and his wife. Both are SAP Technical and attending session together π . I follow his UI5/Fiori QA contributions in the community, always there is something new to learn from him !!.
Didn’t know he was attending and so it was a surprise for me to find him there π Glad to meet you guys!!Β BTW they won XBOX One at teched, amazing right!!Β I had a photo with them as well.
So the next amazing person to meet was Kishore Gokara. Again I met him at several occasion at TechEd but sadly I didn’t take a pic with him πΒ …
Thanks to you I met some awesome people from Fiori elements teams, Saurabh Singh & Prasita Prabhakaran . Kishore and I had a very good discussion with them regarding the current Fiori Elements templates, Future ODataV4 Fiori elements(sap.fe) template , sap cards and OVP.Β It was much better than the regular sessions that I’ve attended π
I got to meet Craig Cmehil at his session about community. I didn’t have any discussion with him, just a selfieΒ π but surely he left a lasting impression on everyone who attended the session about his “Ring Community Story” and with his quote => see the below pic π
venkata naresh kandukuru & Dhanasupriya Sidagam are amazing community folks that I got to meet at teched.
It was the last day and I look so much awkward and tired π π
I also met our November member of the month there. Sudip Ghosh, another amazing community member and contributer. It was nice meeting you Sudip!!
More fun was with my old colleagues & friends there at TechEd, pradeep , Sunil & Mahesh(another one). Mahesh had to stand near by lecture sessions most of the time as he was part of the organising team π But we enjoyed there by talking about the old times at our first company “Yash Technologies” .Β Β It was awesome meeting you guys!!!
I met many other amazing people over there, please comment If i missed any (I blame my poor memory ).
It was nice meeting you all and hope to meet you folks soon in the next TechEd π
Thanks,
Mahesh

What a great post, nice one Mahesh. I'm really happy to see you had such a great experience, and it was a pleasure and honour to meet you in person.
And yes, the mighty FP sword vanquishes all, even static electricity that was kindly provided (for free) via the A/V equipment plugged into my laptop π
Hi Mahesh Kumar Palavalli
Really a pleasure it is to have met you and all other nice folks at teched. Really enjoyed it. Also thanks to Nabheet Madan for introducing us all to each other.

I thought of this as my first & last non tech blog post
and then Nabheet Madan and you tagged me in the BIF

HAHAHAHA, Dont worry next year another interesting challenge will come and again you have to write lol π
Mahesh Kumar Palavalli trust me your non technical blog's are as good technical. Normally people(including me) would like to learn how you are enhancing your technical knowledge and thus incorporating the same in their life. So in a way you are inspiring people at the grassroot level!
