SAP Identity Management 8.0 SP07 Released to Customers

We are pleased to announce that SAP Identity Management 8.0 SP07 is now available on the SAP Software Download Center. This blog post highlights some of the new features coming with the support package stack 07. Like previous releases, our focus is clearly on quality improvements.

As of November 25, 2019, SAP Identity Management customers can use the following new features:

• Support for Oracle 12.2.0.1
• Housekeeping procedure Clean up attributes’ historic values

The newly-introduced Clean up attributes’ historic values housekeeping procedure helps you delete old values in mxi_old_values table. Previously, housekeeping was not involved in cleaning up historic values. It was only triggered when an attribute value was modified or deleted.

Clean up attributes’ historic values procedure is disabled, by default. If you want to use it, you need to enable it in SAP Identity Management Developer Studio.

• Support for Security Policy ABAP Attribute

The ABAP connector and ABAP BusinessSuite connector are extended to support the security policy attribute.

The MX_SECURITY_POLICY attribute holds the security policy for password rules, password changes, and logon restrictions. The security policy attribute is supported for SAP NetWeaver AS ABAP with SAP Basis 7.31 and higher.
