REPLENISHMENT-EWM

In this document , i will explain the entire replenishment process for EWM warehouses

Replenishment is the movement of inventory from upstream — or reserve — product storage locations to downstream — or primary – storage, picking and shipment locations. The purpose of replenishment is to keep inventory flowing through the supply chain by maintaining efficient order and line item fill rates.

We need to define a replenishment storage before we begin. To do this, we need to make the following customizing.

.

Once this is done, we need to create a new warehouse process type. We also match the warehouse process type we created with the document type.

After completing the basic process of replenishment, we need to move to the adaptation section, which will create the conditions for the replenishment.

For this, we first open the planned supply type.

After that, we set the execution time option.

At the last stage, we match the process type with the document type and complete the process.

It’s time for EWM to proceed.

First of all, we need to create a warehouse address in our EWM warehouse where replenishment products will be available. We need to use the SCWM / LS01 code for this.

After creating a warehouse address, we need to open the page that contains the conditions for replenishment. To access this page we need to use the SCWM / BINMAT code.

In this page we need to enter the product to be replenished, maximum-minimum quantity values and the storage address where the replenishment is to be performed.

At the last stage, we need to access the SCWM / MAT1 screen and create and edit the replenish data in the material.

After you have done all these operations, the replenishment process will be defined and ready in your system.

I hope that this document can be beneficial.

Best Regards,

Thanks for sharing the knowledge. It's very clear and straight. But one thing came into my mind, if any client wants to do replenishment by picking from section A first and then storage section B, then how can I specify the sequence of stock removal for doing replenishment?
