Manage Expired Identified Stock in Inbound and Outbound Processes
The target of this blog is to show the option to individually define which inbound or outbound process allows to receive or send expired identified stock.
Usually, you want to exclude expired identified stock from being received or sent in the warehouses. But for exceptional cases, there might be a need to send or receive expired identified stock. For example if you want to receive a returned expired identified stock from customers. Or if you want to send expired identified stock to another location with a stock transfer e.g. for scraping purpose.
Now, you can define for which combination of site, delivery type or product category you want to allow it. You can access it in the common task ‘‘Managing Expired Identified Stock’ in Outbound Logistics Work Center and Inbound Logistics Work Center .

This was completelly necessary for our business as we need to accept, by law, devolutions of expired goods.
