How to publish custom query of Query Browser as Fiori app

Description

After creating custom query with App:Query browser, You want to publish custom query as Fiori app to all or particular business users in S4HC.
By using App: View Browser, you can publish custom query as Fiori app with following 4 steps. #1 to #3 are the Administrator tasks, #4 is the each business users task.

Step-by-step Instructions

#1. App: View Browser, choose the query you want to publish as a Fiori app like name:YY1_* and click ‘Create Application’.

#2. In the pop-up screen, input the Title and Subtiltle. Title and Subtiltle are the name shown as app name in the Fiori apps later. Then click OK.

#3. You can see Application ID is generated on the same screen #1(App: View browser), Click the link of Application ID – click ‘View in Catalog’.

  • At the next screen, you can see no business catalog is correlate to the Application ID you created.
  • Click ‘add’ and choose catalog role(s) you want to correlate to Application ID.
  • Click ‘publish’.

#4. Business users who has catalog role(s) correlated to Application ID can search the Fiori apps(app name is ‘Title and Subtiltle’) through App Finder. You can add to any Fiori groups as you like, for example My Home.

      Is the Create Application button in View browser available only on Cloud MTE because I is not available on cloud STE?

      Hi, I'm not sure Create Application button in View browser available on STE also. As I do not have STE tenant I can log on. Sorry that I wasn't able to help.
