Since official release of Portal service on SAP Cloud Platform Multi-Cloud a lot of learning materials became available. For those of you who prefer to learn from visual sources, we have created these video tutorials for quick and easy start. Each video will take you step by step and show you exactly where to go and what should be done. They also include some explanations and useful tips. The videos are very short (2-4 minutes) and you can watch them one by one or just pick the topics you are interested in.

1. Get started with your Trial account
You still have not created your trial account on Cloud Foundry? This video tutorial is for you!
In this video you will learn how to activate your trial account and what to fill in in required fields. You will see where to go in the SCP Cockpit to subscribe to the Portal service.
And lastly, you will find out how to set up your portal administrator to get access to your Portal service. Finally, you'll know how to access your Portal service in the first time.
2. Get started with your Global account
You already have a license and would like to start working with your SAP Global account? There is another video tutorial you can watch!*
In this video you will learn how to create a sub-account and what to fill in in the required fields and why. You will see where to go in the SCP Cockpit to subscribe to the Portal service. And lastly, you will find out how to set up your portal administrator to get access to your Portal service. Finally, you'll know how to access your Portal service in the first time.
*If you already have created your Trial account on Cloud Foundry, the process is very similar, so you can watch only the first part: "How to create a sub-account" and skip two others.
3. How to build your SAP Cloud Platform Portal site
You already have an account on Cloud Foundry and would like to start building your first SCP Portal site? Watch this video!
In this video you will learn where to go and how to create your Portal site and what content it includes by default. You will also learn how to configure the Destinations for your Back-end Systems in the SCP Cockpit. You will find out how to create the apps, groups, catalogs and roles and understand the meaning of each one of these business content entities. Lastly you will discover how to make all the business content available to your end user by assigning a role to him. And finally, you will be shown how the end user can edit their Portal home page in the run-time: add groups and add the apps from the App Finder.
4. How to enhance your SAP Cloud Platform Portal site with Web Content
You have created a basic site with Business Content and would like to enhance it with additional Web Content? Here you are!
In this video you will learn how to add Pages to your Portal site and change the home page of your site. You will be demonstrated how you can use out of the box portal widgets to enrich your web page with beautiful content like carousels, lists and cards. You will see how you can easily edit your web content, customizing it as you wish. You will discover how easy you can create a useful navigation for your site even without adding a site menu! Lastly, you will learn how to add a site menu and edit it for even better site navigation.
5. How to configure Cloud Foundry environment for development
You already have an account on Cloud Foundry and would like to develop your own apps for your Portal site? This video will guide you through the setup steps required for configuring your Cloud Foundry environment for development.
You will learn how to enable Cloud Foundry to get started with development in your sub-account. You will be explained what organization is and where you can add organization members. You will see where you create Spaces and assign members to them. And lastly, you will discover how to configure entitlements and quotas for your organizations and which service plans are required to be added to be able to start developing your applications. In the end, you will get to know how you can limit your space resources by managing quota plans for your spaces.
