SAP Leonardo IoT for ISV Applications: Unlock your customers IoT data with business context.
The world of internet-of-things (IoT) is growing at a rapid pace. IoT is increasingly becoming a foundational element of any next-generation technology investment. We live in a world where anything and everything, from consumer goods to utilities to industrial and farm equipment utilize connected devices. They are generating massive amounts of data, however most of that data remains unused and lacks business context.
The key is to connect assets, people, and processes based on real-time intelligence from digital IoT platform services and sensor data. SAP Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) solutions span a wide range of industries that are deploying (IoT) solutions to power digital transformation initiatives, which revolutionize customer experience, enhance operations, and spur the implementation of innovative business models.
Over the past months, SAP has offered on-site IoT workshops for Partners. The workshops are being led by SAP IoT Product Managers and includes in-depth and hands-on exercises with real world scenarios to better understand SAP’s product set. The objectives of the Workshops being:
- Learn how to leverage SAP Leonardo IoT and SAP Edge Services to build transformative IoT applications, or extend or embed existing business scenarios with IoT
- Provide Partners with the tools, methodologies and learning resources from SAP that they can leverage to realize their use cases
Based on the our successful on-site IoT partner workshops, we are pleased to announce SAP Leonardo IoT virtual workshop for Developers and Architects in the week of October 14th, 2019. The virtual workshop will be led by Sijesh Manohar, Senior Product Manager at SAP Labs LLC, IoT Engineering team. The Virtual Workshop will introduce the two IoT products – SAP Leonardo IoT and SAP Edge Services – and provide partners with hands on experience. To partners to complete the exercises, the learning environment will be kept open for 3 weeks and all questions will be addressed via the Learning Hub.
Due to the hands-on learning nature, the participation for partners has been limited and I encourage you to register for all 4 sessions.
