New Enhancements to Learning Journeys September 2019
Learning journeys are your visual guides which provide you with the guidance needed to identify the key learning activities (SAP courses, blogs, videos…) to help you learn about SAP Products and Solutions. (Find out more)
If you are an SAP Learning Hub user you can access them within SAP Learning Hub and consume content seamlessly but as a non- SAP Learning Hub user you can still browse Learning Journeys and consume the free content which does not require an SAP Learning Hub Subscription.
We have recently rolled out a few enhancements to the Learning Journeys which we think will be of interest to you
SEARCH IMPROVEMENTS
We have implemented a few changes to the search functionality and the sorting of Learning Journeys in the Learning Journeys overview page.
Key changes:
- Learning Journeys Sorting: Learning Journeys which include the search term in the Learning Journey tile come as the first Learning Journeys listed in the search results.
- Double Quotation Marks: it is possible to use double quotation marks to do a strict phrase search, i.e. searching for “SAP HANA” will only retrieve the “SAP HANA” Learning Journeys – instead of all the Learning Journeys where the terms ‘SAP’ and ‘HANA’ are used.
- Design standards: users now need to click on the search magnifying glass or press enter in order to launch the search. We are now aligned with search functionality standards. This change will also allow us to better analyse the search terms used to identify further improvements in the Learning Journeys browsing/search experience.
BROWSING EXPERIENCE
We have added a ‘Load more’ button at the bottom of the Learning Journeys overview page to improve browsing experience. As more and more Learning Journeys get added on a monthly basis, we need to ensure it is still easy to get to the right Learning Journey easily.
CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE SURVEY
We have introduced a Customer Experience Survey for every Learning Journey, this survey is based on Qualtrics technology. User will find a thumbs up/down survey at the bottom of every Learning Journeys.
In the case of a negative answer, users will be asked optional additional questions which will help identify whether their dissatisfaction lies with the overall experience, the relevancy of the content or the content quality.
This will enable us to collect invaluable feedback from learners and allow us to effectively prioritize future enhancements as well pinpoint where a review of the content included in the Learning Journeys may be required.
So feel free to provide your feedback from now on
