LTMC/MASS Business Partner Role Extension: SAP Credit Management (UKM000) Parameters

Introduction

This blog provides insights about the extension of Business Partner Role UKM000 SAP Credit Management through the MASS & LTMC Data Migration Cockpit. There have been many conversations about if LTMC is capable of mass extending the Credit Management parameters and how to extend the BP Role UKM000 for the Business Partners. This blog will provide the detailed explanation which can be followed to mass extend the UKM000 roles with the respective parameters.

SAP Solution

Scenario: Data Migration

Pre-requisites: Good knowledge of Data Migration Cockpit (LTMOM/LTMC)

At the time of Business Partner data migration there is a need of mas extending various BP roles. If SAP FSCM Credit Management is also implemented there will be a need to mass extend the UKM000 SAP Credit Management Role for the Business Partners.

This solution will be further divided into two sections (We will be covering point ‘b’)

a) DMC Mass Extending the BP Role: In this step BP Role UKM000 Credit Management will be extended (Standard LTMC templates available)

b) DMC Mass Updating UKM000 Credit Segment fields (FM: UKM_DB_UKMBP_CMS_EXECUTE) : This will update the Credit profile data/Credit Segment data like credit limit etc..

c) Master Data Mass Changes: Follow SAP Easy Access to complete the Mass master data changes like Scoring Etc..

After step ‘A’ has been performed

DMC Mass Updating UKM000 Credit Segment fields

a) Create a Migration project (or use existing project) and in the Source structure add the relevant fields (check target structure for reference)

  • Business Partner Data

  •  Vector Update

  • CMS_SGM_UPD

b) Complete the Field Mapping

  • Business Partner Data

  • Vector Update

  • CMS_SGM_UPD

Now Download the templates from LTMC and update all the sections.

Conclusion

We can extend the UKM000 Credit Management data by creating a DMC object using SAP Standard Function Module UKM_DB_UKMBP_CMS_EXECUTE.

      Hi Karan Bhambra,

Do you mean Customer object? cuz I couldn't find the Credit Management object in 1809 on-premise version. SAP document also doesn't mention it.

      Hi Rahul Joshi,

Firstly, you can extend role UKM000 for Customer by using standard object Customer, adding role UKM000 in sheet BP roles.

Secondly, create Z-object as Karan Bhambra's guideline to fulfill other data.

There are also Std Trx for mass update for certain fields only.

      FYI.

UKM_MASS_UPD1        Credit Mgt: Mass Change to Ext. Ratg
UKM_MASS_UPD2        Credit Mgt: Mass Change to Score
UKM_MASS_UPD3        Credit Mgt: Mass Change to Cr. Limit
UKM_MASS_UPD4        Credit Mgt: Mass Change to Rule
UKM_MASS_UPD5        Credit Mgt: Create Role UKM000

By any chance do you know a transaction to modify the Customer Credit Group.

I can't seem to find one.

      Thank you in advance.

      Hi Karan,

Thanks for such an informative blog. I want to load few of the credit management field of BP by using LTMC. I have created a Z object with FM- UKM_DB_UKMBP_CMS_EXECUTE but after running this object nothing is getting updated in BP credit management role. However, LTMC is not even giving any error message. Not sure if I am missing something.

Do I need to run commit BAPI also, but if yes then how to run it via LTMC. Please suggest.

      Hi Karan,

When I use this FM in LTMOM it is updating BP data for multiple BP  but for CMS data like Credit Limit it is only updating the last record in the file . Not all BP .  Please suggest how to handle this

      Kind Regards
