SAP TechEd 2019 Tutorial Mission: Contest Closed, Winners Selected!
We are three weeks away from the very first SAP TechEd of 2019, and thanks to the SAP TechEd 2019 Tutorial Mission contest, several people will be attending the shows for free!
As part of the contest, entrants needed to complete a mission consisting of tutorials focused on SAP Cloud Platform workflows. Upon finishing the mission successfully, they became eligible for a random drawing to give away free passes.
Well, the contest closed on August 30, we got the list of entrants, we conducted the drawing, and…
…drum roll please…
…without further ado, I’m happy to announce the winn…
…wait, what’s that?
Three hundred people?
One hundred pass winners for SAP TechEd 2019 Las Vegas, one hundred for SAP TechEd 2019 Barcelona, and one hundred for SAP TechEd 2019 Bangalore?
OK, so, yeah, um, no, I’m not gonna list out three hundred names.
Aw, c’mon, don’t look at me like that…
Instead of listing the winners here, the Developer & Community Relations team is going to contact them personally. In fact, we have already emailed the Vegas winners, congratulating them and providing more details. We’ll email the Barcelona winners soon, followed by the Bangalore winners.
After we give the winners the good news, the registration teams for each event will contact them to explain how they can claim their prize. Each SAP TechEd location has a different team responsible for registration, so these emails won’t go out all at once. Las Vegas winners will get their instructions first, then Barcelona, then Bangalore.
If you’re one of the lucky winners, congratulations! Thank you for participating in the contest — and thanks to everyone who completed the tutorials. We’ll have plenty of opportunities to learn more about SAP Cloud Platform at the Developer Garage at SAP TechEd. Read Craig Cmehil‘s Rolling into Vegas blog post to get information about the educational and fun activities we’ll have in Las Vegas — many of which will repeat at the other TechEd locations. I’ll be on hand in Las Vegas and Barcelona — working in the social-media lounge that Craig wrote about — and if you’re a winner, please stop by so we can talk about the show, the contest, and SAP Community.

I'll miss it too! I was in Bangalore for the 2017 show (was at all three locations that year), but I haven't been back since. Last year I only made it to Vegas, so getting to both Vegas and Barcelona this year is a treat. Maybe I'll hit all three locations again in 2020.

From what I understand all e-mails for Barcelona have been sent. I have to admit I am super-sad not to be able to participate 🙁 But I am very happy for all of you, guys! Have a blast!
