Let’s see if we’ve got this right: You've received your Welcome email from SAP, you’ve accessed the SAP Cloud Platform cockpit for the first time and you’re maybe a little bit overwhelmed by the sheer possibilities of configuring your global account and subaccounts?

Been there! You've come to the right place.

We've noticed that customers and partners tended to have some of the same questions when setting up their end-to-end FX trading process using the trading platform integration SAP Cloud Platform (SCP) application, and because we want your onboarding experience to be as smooth as possible, we decided to drop a post here pointing out places where you can find the information that you need to configure your application properly.

The starting point for successfully setting up the application is choosing your global account in the SAP Cloud Platform cockpit and creating the necessary subaccounts. To make sure that everything is correctly set up, you have a look at the Onboarding chapter in the Administration guide. This chapter guides you step by step through the onboarding process and provides helpful configuration examples. Also, please have a look at SAP’s dedicated service offering.

For questions concerning the connection to your SAP S/4HANA Cloud or SAP S/4HANA back-end system, have a look at the Connectivity chapter, which includes a document on how to connect external trading platforms to your SCP application.

The information provided in the Administration guide will help you resolve your problems and help set up your trading process so that it functions seamlessly. Now, if this is not the case for any reason, and you have a question not addressed here or in the guide, please do let us know, and we will update the documentation and spread the word accordingly!

Are you looking for some generic information on how to use the application? Have a look at our SAP Help Portal page using this quick link: http://help.sap.com/trm_tpi
