SAP Inside Track in Belo Horizonte was a Success
Last May I was in Minas Gerais for the “SAP Inside Track(SIT) Belo Horizonte 2019”, also known as SITBH 2019. This the second time Belo Horizonte (BH) hosts this event, the first edition with ~150 guests and now a bigger edition with ~200 people.
Before sharing some information about how was this edition, do you know what is SAP Inside Track? SAP Inside Track is an event where SAP Community members come together to share knowledge about SAP related topics. The event is driven and organized by SAP Community and SAP Mentors and everyone can profit or contribute acting as presenter, speaker, guest, taking part in discussions, exchanging information and doing networking.
In this last edition in BH there were many interesting topics, some more traditional and technical SAP topics, others more related to business. Here is the list: ABAP, S/4HANA, SAP Finance Digital Core, Project Management, Governance, IOT, RPA, SAP Fiori and ui5 and Sports and Entertainment, this last topic presented by me. The tittle of my lecture was: “Mais que um jogo, tecnologia dentro e fora das quatro linhas a serviço de atletas, clubes e fãs do esporte”. In this presentation, I shared SAP portfolio related to Sports and Entertainment, which is very complete and effective, helping the clubs, players and staff to focus on their main tasks to get the best results.
For sports fan like me it’s always wonderful to talk about this topic. And I can tell you that besides the lecture I was able to build network and to have some fun, including a visit to Mineirão, a World Cup stadium which hosted unforgettable matches and events. You can find more about Mineirão in English language as well.
The atmosphere at SIT events is really great, less formality and more knowledge sharing. SIT is the largest independent event of SAP technology in Brazil. In 10 years, more than 20 editions, from south to northeast of Brazil and there is much more to come. But SIT does not happen only in Brazil, the event was hosted in more than 50 cities around the world.
A special thanks to all the people engaged, presenter, speakers, guests, those who helped to organize and supported the event. Congratulations, it was excellent, a success!
If you want to know more about SAP portfolio for Sports and Entertainment or if you are interested on fan experience, connected stadiums and smart arenas feel free to talk to me, I will be happy to share this and other experiences related to these topics!
