The scope of this blog is to enable addition of Custom fields in Utilities Categories of Live activity and Enterprise Search. Contents:

  1. Extensibility through KUT

  2. Extensibility through PDI

  3. Known Limitations


 

  1. Extensibility though KUT



  • Log in as KUT user, go to desired WorkCenter OWL and add a KUT field for the Advanced Search. Example Premise:




Save and Open. Go to enterprise Search facet in edit mode, and click on ‘Add’ action for the desired Enterprise search category/Object





Save. And close.

Exit the adaptation mode. You should now be able to view the Extension field in Enterprise Search and Live activity.





  • Implement the ERP/S4 Pre-badi to map this extension field to ISU_FINDER parameters.

Enhance Utilities Premise Object in PDI:



Choose Enhance Enterprise search and Select the desired Category and click on ‘Add Field’:





Close.

Implement the ERP/S4 Pre-badi to map this extension field to ISU_FINDER parameters.

Result list of enterprise search/Live activity is not extensible by standard. This document only covers the extensibility of Selection parameters.
