Submitting New Feature Requests: SAP Customer Influence
As SAP S/4HANA Cloud Customers, you may wish to influence SAP software and services to address your business needs and would like to see your ideas and feedback incorporated in the product. Since SAP’s ticketing systems is meant only to address fixing of errors in S/4HANA Cloud, it is not the right channel to submit new feature requests to SAP. Instead, you may leverage our SAP Customer Influence portal for this purpose.
SAP Customer Influence offers a range of programs that give customers the opportunity to influence SAP software development decisions and adopt new innovations early on. It enables customers to submit improvement requests and to openly vote on them. Feedback received from this portal, along with the voting result allows SAP to understand and gauge product enhancements and changes customers are most interested in seeing in future releases.
How to use Customer Influence portal?
- Get started by opening SAP Customer Influence
- Choose a session of your interest
- Create and submit your improvement request
- Take a look at existing improvement requests and start voting and commenting
Process automation scope item 1P9 and BME
Our client, is currently working on the ECC 6.0 version and is migrating its logistics processes to S / 4 Hana Cloud.
One of the processes we need to reproduce in S / 4 Hana Cloud is “Intercompany stock transfer 1P9” . This process is covered in S/4 Hana Cloud, except that with the goods issue posting from the supply center, the goods receipt is automatically posted to the receiving center.
The goods receipt is posted in the receiving planta at the same time as the goods issue is posted in the issuing plant.
In summary, we need to have this point of customizing in S / 4 Hana Cloud to be able to use the functionality that our client currently has, if not, they require us to have to develop all the functionality.
This same functionality is required also for the scope item “Stock transfer with delivery BME”.
The objective is not to develop the functionality required by our client, since we consider it very expensive and complicated to do.

I think , its a great platform to add ideas with an intention to ease the work of both customer & consultants.
I have submitted my first Idea on customer influence platform , please support if you find it relevant.
Are you involved in the SAP Customer Influence program? I have been using this program for 4 years, and have a lot of feedback to provide. The main piece is that there is a massive lack of communication from the "Coaches" assigned to the influence suggestions. There are "Next Update" dates that are two years old, with customers commenting actively asking for updates, and still nothing. How do we get SAP's attention on a suggestion like this to actually receive a meaningful update (more than just pushing the decision/next update date out further into the future).
Does anybody know once the feature request is acknowldged by SAP, how do we know when those changes will be available in the system?
